This listing is for one Vintage, Rare, Wendy's /Coca Cola Plastic Reusable, Durable Plastic  Canteen, with a twist on Lid, a reusable clear plastic Straw, with an attached black Cap, and a 42" long Strap.
This was part of my sisters advertising collection; an item that she purchased and never used. She could not remember the exact year she purchased it. Between the  1960's and 1990's she purchased this at a Wendy's Restaurant on her route coming home from work. She did not use this item. She displayed collectible  items for a short period of time, then packed them away, to display other items. This was packed away  for years. This item is in great condition, and still has it's original vibrant, non faded colors.
The Canteen is 9 " tall with the lid, straw and cap in place. Without the lid the measurements are 6 1/8" tall X 5" wide X 2 7/8" deep. The height inside is 5 1/4" high. The Canteen  looks as though it could hold approximately 12 oz. of fluid. The Cap  twists on  for a snug fit to avoid spilling any liquid. The  pink strap is 42" long, 1/2" wide and is made out of a strong woven strap material with no stains or damage.
I did not see another vintage advertising item ( Wendy's and Coca Cola) just like this one, on eBay at this time.  It is quite likely that owner's of this item are holding on to it for their own collection.
The bottom of the Canteen lists, " Promotional Packaging Co.    Dallas      Kansas City    Pat. Pend.

If you are not a collector and wanted to use this item, it would be great to take to an amusement park or any outing, especially for a child who grows tired of carrying their soda or lemonade for hours in their small hands. They could pour their refreshment into this canteen rather than asking you to carry their refreshments along with everything else you will carry for  your family. I could have used two of these when my children were younger.

This item will be carefully packed in bubble wrap, placed in a cardboard box, and then placed in a waterproof poly bag to protect it from any moisture damage during transit.  I want my buyers to receive their items in the same great condition they are in as they leave my home.
